Mayami started with a simple problem.

At 15 years old, our founder began stringing racquets to earn enough money to buy his own tennis strings.

That early experience taught one important lesson.

Players remember how a racquet feels.

Stringers know why.

After more than two decades as a tennis coach and thousands of racquets strung, one idea became clear:

The string is only as good as the person who installs it.

That belief became the foundation of Mayami.

Not to become another tennis brand.

But to build strings that stringers enjoy working with and players trust to perform.

THE STORY BEHIND THE NAME

The name Mayami has always been personal.

It combines three parts of our family:

Ma – Maryna

Ya – Yaroslav

Mi – Milchenko

Mayami was built with the same values that inspired its name:

Commitment.

Patience.

Long-term thinking.

Over the years, Mayami strings have been trusted by ATP and WTA professionals, Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup players, national champions and thousands of competitive players around the world.

Today our focus is clear.

We work directly with independent stringers, coaches and performance players.

Because we believe the future of tennis strings is built on court—not through complicated distributor networks.
